Inspired by those shooting games in arcades, mainly House of the Dead.

I wanted to call this "Gif of the Dead", but the guy I drew doesn't look like a zombie lol.

I did this gif partly to experiment with human movements and stuff. I actually acted getting shot in front of the mirror to get the zombie guy's movement right. I only did this for the first...uhh, 'getting shot' (what's the term for this?XD) animations though. Hopefully nobody saw me acting like an idiot lol. All other animations are just plain cartoon exaggeration, which I hope you people may find funny :]

Done in Easytoon
A bit of help from my drawing tablet
Hours spent? Hmmm...I started this two weeks ago, spent most time correcting mistakes...probably around 20 hours. (yeah I know, spent too much time staring at it lol)

Anyway, enjoy.

OH! Question!!! XD;;; What's the frame speed you used? ;o; (my avatar is at 5, but... when I saved it as a gif, it's so slow now. :()

Dont ever play school on Expert.
I used different frame speeds for this gif. I put those spinning parts at 3 so it would look like it actually spins. I had to make more frames though. The standard speed I use is 6.

And yeah, there is some slowdown when I converted it to gif too. It doesn't go as smooth as the original ezt file. I wonder why...
greatest animation i've ever seen!!!
keep it up!!!

I have nothing to say here...oh wait, i just said something!?!....
I feel a bit of sorry for the zombie... I don't know why. The animation is very cool, I love the part where the zombie charges at you.
Wait, you set Animation Properties to 6? Then... how'd you make the spin parts 3?

My gifs saved before fine, but now it's slow. O_O;;

No, I never touched animation properties. You know that small box that says 'Duration'? I set that to 3 for the fast moving parts. Duration is the thing I fiddle with to adjust speed. I don't know what animation properties do lol
... Duration... Doesn't Duration make scenes delay? O_O

Like, on my avatar, the part at the beginning (where it shows SM's face temporarily) has a Duration of 85. The whole animation has animation properties of 5.

(when you click animation properties, does it say Time Between Frames?)

Wow, I just figured something out. It seems that we have a different method for timing frames. And I think I'm doing things the hard way :\

Anyway, I think animation properties and duration has the same purpose. The difference is that animation properties set the speed for ALL the frames in the file, while duration sets the speed for only a certain frame. You leave duration in zero, correct? You only touch it when you want to delay a frame, right? In my method, I always enter a number in the duration box for EVERY frame I create. So when I leave it at zero, the frame moves at the speed depending on what you entered in animation properties. In my case, I never touched that option, and has always been on 20 (it's the default number I think).

Wait, what was your original question again? .....Oh yeah lol

Setting the duration to 85 will certainly delay the frame, but it can also speed up a frame that you picked. You're animation is at 5, so setting the frame's duration to 4 or lower will speed it up.

As for your animations getting slower when converted into gif, I don't know how to fix that. My animation also slows a little bit, but not really noticeable.
